Filming Update

Wednesday, August 6 / 2008

Kyle Desaulniers Running in the sunset. Once you get to see the actual trick you will be blown away...

Well, the crew has been going hard on filming for the new video. Just finished a Kitsch trip with all the boys, got a lot of good stuff with Cory Wilson at this amazing ghetto spot in Prince George. We are working our asses off to have a teaser by the end of Summer. All the HD footage has been turning out amazing and it has been a lot of fun filming with these guys. Scooter is back in town and killing it. So crazy how he has not lost touch with skating downtown, and how fun it is for him just to push around and get like three tricks at a spot in a matter of mins. As for Kyle He has been taking his time, but with time comes perfection. He is no joke when he has something in mind, he does not walk away, love the kid. Thanks for being part of this future project Kyle.

As for Hill Sulphure he has gone home to film for a bit. He left us with a lot of good footage. We filmed a lot while he was in town. Keeping ripping bro.

We have added another skater to my future video project, he goes by the name, JORDEN MURRAY. He is from Salmon Arm and he has more focus and drive than most. He is hungry and stoked to be part of the project can't wait to see what comes next with him. From what we got first day out, things look really good. Also big thanks to Brett Box for shooting all the photos in the update. Check the Aussies website out: www.deviandmrbox.com

Jorden Murrey After a hard day of work.

Well Here is Jorden Murrey busting his ass to get some tricks on this amazing spot. Well worth it, thanks Jorden...

Most People would be pissed after a fall like this, but not Jorden he just gets up and goes back to work...

Cory Wilson May look tired here. Well ,cause he is. Cory has been skating harder than he ever. Thanks bro for all the commitment

Cory Wilson

Scooter is home for a bit, we're filming for his Plan B part as well as his part in my new full length feature film. We will be releasing the name of our new video soon enough. Thank You...

Me filming the Action. There was plenty going on, thanks guys...

VIDEO UPDATE ON THE WAY SHORTLY...

Out with the old, in with the new.... GEAR...NEW TOYS

Monday, June 30 / 2008

So i sold two of my old camera, kept the OG Sony VX1000, and picked up this new toy for the video.

Sorry I haven't updated in the last little while. I will have some video updates up on my profile by the end of the week. I've been really busy filming for my new video (due out next summer) and just to let you know, all the boys have been going at it super hard lately.

Hill Just got back from Detroit, where he brought be back a fair bit of good footage. He also brought back a new addition to the Vancouver skateboard scene, by the name of Dallas Ives. This kid is amazing. Kyle D has also been ripping it pretty hard getting some real jaw dropping shots, and im sure there is more to come . I can already tell this will be a good summer due to the fact that everyone I've been going out with has really been going for it non stop.

While making the new video, I was fortunate enough to purchase the new Panasonic HD HVX200, as well as an aluminum dolly and full tracking system. While I'm at it, I would also like to thank a few people for making this summer a little better; Krew Clothing for hooking it up and Shawn Shuttelworth at Ogio bags for lacing me up with a huge amount of bags.

This is a video By same man that brings you all the Transworld videos; Jason Hernandez's. He makes these dolly tracking systems with his father and then ships them out to his customers (I got mine this week!). Thanks Guys check out there website here . While your at it, enjoy this video and learn how the whole system works.

This last photo is by a friend of mine named Joel. Now that i think of it, this is probably the last time I used this camera before selling it to Geoff Dermer. I know that with all the filming that Geoff's been doing lately that he will definitely get good use out of it.

ITS OUT, GO BUY THE SHIT!

Please go buy this video don't YOU TUBE the shit. Anyways Hope everyone gets to see it and I just want to say thanks to Digital for using my footage. Iron Maiden Concert Picture set #01

Thursday, June 5 / 2008

This is why i was born, to see this day...

Well, my good buddy Damon Pyett (Coastal Riders Team Manager) called me up a few weeks back and whispered gold into my ears. He asked me "Yo you want to go to Iron maiden concert 5th row from the stage" and I was like "hell yeah". Two weeks went by until the golden day arrived. We got some pre drinks in before the show and once we arrived, we spent the rest of the night watching Iron Maiden. The crew was Damon, John Hanlon, myself of course Eddie. The giant himself was waisted and making friends with local Maiden fans. This show was amazing considering the age of these dudes. They also said they are Releasing a new CD and that they were planning another tour. I will for sure be their. Thanks goes out to Damon for the tickets.

These are all the pictures that Damon has sent me so far, and there are more to come. I will post them as soon as I get them sent to me. For now enjoy these...

So it begins...

Lead Singer getting REAL...

Holy SHIT...

The Back drops and the Giant Eddie Figures were worth every cent

Guitar solo...

Come And Gone Before they even got a chance...

Thursday, June 5 / 2008

Here is the only WARM UP footage we got.

Day 1...
We set out for the May long weekend to build a new spot that I recently found. Smooth, sheltered and ghetto looking. Sick. The Sunday of the May long weekend myself, Mike.G. and Kyle.D went to Home Depot to buy everything we needed to build the spot. I already stole 30 cinder blocks from my neighbor and got my dad to grab some good angle iron. The reason I picked the spot was because of the look and lack of security...so we thought. After 7 hours of building, a security guard rolls up and asks if we were 'taggers'. Nope. Might do a little skateboarding though... But that didn't seem to bother him. We sweep up and call it a day.

Day 2...
Wake up Monday morning to rain but I'm smiling because we have a covered ledge spot to film today. I call Cory and Stacy and we head to the spot. We do some touch ups then sweep and start filming. Cory almost had his sick ass line when 5 security guards roll up. They are chill for the most part but they inform me that I must contact the property owner if we want to skate. I email the Events Manager with a contract containing a list of skaters using the spot making it look all official. She called the next morning with the bad news. She liked the email and our overall efforts. No skateboarding UNLESS we want to pay $6000 to rent it for the day.

Day 3...
Cory and I go back to the spot around 7pm to get his line. We almost get the job done but Cory rolls his ankle. I got to give it to him for trying so hard for me. Ha Ha! A true bro. As soon as he sits up, security rolls up and asks, "Hey do you guys know Jordan Mayfield?". As we leave they tell Cory that they will be breaking our ledges down.

All in all these people are lame. They kicked us out of a building has been empty for more than 10 years. Plus, they didn't even know the ledges we built were new to the spot. Oh yeah and I got epoxy on my hands. I couldn't get the shit off so I had to hit the hospital that night to remove it. No luck. Just using steel wool on my skin. Ha Ha! Sometimes skateboarding throws you a real curve ball.
So if you can find the spot you should shred it! I have to find a new potential skate spot.

Doing some cutting

The Seven footer R.I.P.

So in the end they Smashed them out with slug Hammers.
Time to relocate.

The Boys are back in town

Monday, May 12 / 2008

Well i know it's been a while since i have last updated but i have been busy with the move to the city. We've been filming a lot for the new video, so here is a little low down on everyone's status. Cory Wilson is almost done working on his up and coming SBC interview and has been getting tons of footage pretty easy. Hill Sulphure is gone home for a month to keep filming on some new ground. Hope all the footage turns out, oh yeah and he also he just had a interview on Skate Newspot Check it. Kyle d has been also filming tons and with great skating comes a large amount of waiting, haha. John Hanlon is back on his ankle and trying to jump down some shit so I can't wait to see what he has to offer.

Scooter's now back in town for a long time and we are filming for both his Plan b video part and his part in my video. Our first day out filming together in a long time was no joke, I can tell you that much! Not many people are that powerful on a skateboard. If i had to guess right now I would say that both of his parts are going to be to good.

Ryan Decenzo is also back in town for about another week so we have also been filming for his Dark Star part. Wow, the first day was just f***d. WATCH OUT SCOTIA BANK ledges hahaha. We should have a teaser out fo my video by the end of summer so please stay tuned. For now, here's some pictures of scooter chillin at some spots from the day. I'll be putting some park footage up very soon, sorry for the delay on the updates.

The soon to be Victim

Scooter Holds it down? Well as much as he can

Saturday, April 12 / 2008

Well sucks i wasnt there for this one but meh I'm stoked to see my boys had fun and held it down . Every one is here in this wild Picture. We will be seeing more from Mr scott decenzo the newby superstar haha and as far as i can tell he still has a little trouble handle'ing the bottel.
Hahaha Still got love for yah Homie...This Photo has all the Delta homies in it and other canadian Homies, Ryan Decenzo,Magnus Hanson,Johnny Boy A.K.A. Tall Muther Fu**in Hanlon,Sasha Daily, Also if you look Trep is lurkin in the background there.Congrats to Ryan for winning the PHX AM contest . Well Look what we have here it seems Scooter is loosing his shy side to the ladies. Well if you know scooter you know the Ladies Love him. This Skate Rat bitch must have watched his Plan B Part haha . Another one for the Golden Child haha . Hope to see you soon Homie.

Well once again some one has to keep an eye on this wild child. I recall back in Barcelona last year scooter haveing some Ladies following him around and he turns to me with a puke look face and asks me to cover him so no one can see him puke on some locals car near by. But hey it was worth it the ladies never saw, and scooter could hold face and show are group of #20 people to his secret olympic pool location. Well worth it best trip ever that trip is where you are seeing all the new footage from scott,Magnus,Ryan we got a lot done. So any ways as i can see scooter still has trouble holding on to that bottle but not to SW BLADES stoned while doing knife tricks and talking to me hahah to good.

SBC 10TH Anniversary...Apple Yard on the Cover

Well today on my way home from Vancouver i picked up the new copy of the 10th Anniversary SBC skateboard Magazine.
Well of course all the Skate Rat Bros had coverage in it! They ran a small Article of how Scooter got on Plan B skateboards, and they also featured his Plan B ad again. My favorite photo in the hole mag hands down is MAGNUS HANSONS 50-50, very well shot Pommier. Ryan also has a Sequence that is amazing so go out and grab this issue.
