Every time I see a hand rail I instantly imagine sliding down it on my snowboard. The fact that I no longer possess any ability whatsoever to do such a thing never crosses my mind, yet this daydream is always the same.  I wonder; when I’m an old man and must use handrails for their original purpose of assisting my walk down the stairs, will I still imagine locking into a backside lip slide? Facebook…blah, Twitter…#whocares, Instagram…LIKE. There’s never a certainty as to which social platform will outwit, outsmart, outplay the others – but, I would like to think Instagram has a solid chance.  I suppose what intrigues me most, is the fact that we are no longer required to write or speak to communicate effectively. Instagram is also currently free from the spam that fills many of the other platforms. Despite this, there’re a few instances where Instagram is being internally abused.

I’m not one to back commercial products, ever. In general I am allergic to most types of branding, logos, and things of the sort. However, I do have a small list of brands that peak my interest on occasion. The following items are some products of note, a top twelve of 2012 if you will…………..drum roll: Apple, Visa,  WestJet, and Crown Royal.  I have only listed four because everything else sucks. Everything!

A little while ago I noticed how trendy the internet was becoming. I suspected there must be monies to be had, and nothing would be more rewarding then to exploit the world wide web for my own personal gain. The problem was I didn’t actually know how to use the internet.  Despite my complete lack of knowledge,  I set out to develop the most interesting website the world had ever known. And like that, Appies All The Time was born.
