SBC 10TH Anniversary...Apple Yard on the Cover Well today on my way home from Vancouver i picked up the new copy of the 10th Anniversary SBC skateboard Magazine. Well of course all the Skate Rat Bros had coverage in it! They ran a small Article of how Scooter got on Plan B skateboards, and they also featured his Plan B ad again. The crew was Mark Sollors, Steve Cartwright, Rusty Ockenden, Mikey Pederson, Nate Laverty and our friend Dione. We spent 4 days there and weather was hit and miss so were already making plans to go back. We ate every morning at this Tim's and the last morning we met a pleasant small town man who told us it looked like the Circus was in town and insisted on going home to get his bat so he could beat us all. For some strange reason there is a new spot in Richmond. Not sure who's in charge of that one but Thank you!! It's at a water park off of Alberta street, no kickout at all and very quiet. It’s the Osiris Skate & Create ad from the new TWS mag. I just got wind from my peoples over at Osiris USA. Skate and Create is a contest TWS is doing with Osiris, Emerica, DVS, and Globe. The deal is simple - TWS gives you a warehouse for 9 days with a bunch of ramps in it too shoot photos and make a video. You can do anything you like in there. I tagged along with Nate Laverty the other day cause I had nothing better to do. We met up with Simon and Odam in whistler and went to check out a gap to ledge. I was there just as a spectator at first but ended up shooting sequences well Rich got the stills.
I put down my camera to play goalie and keep Simon from going for a dip in the river and well...I did my job me thinks.
