I needed something to toss up here tonight and then while routing through some photos from Edmonton, I found these photos of my buddy Mike Maurer. Mike's a rad fellow. He owns a skateshop in Leduc, AB called "Rumor" and is an all round good guy... which sucks when you see stuff like this. OK, straight out, if you don't like skateboard slams, DO NOT WATCH THIS CLIP.
OK FOR REAL, DON'T WATCH IF YOU DON'T LIKE SKATE SLAMS. IT'S A DOOZY.

I filmed this on one of the Tough Guy Tours I went on years ago. Somehow I came across it on my Lacie. Nice flick in a Hooter's tee! If I can remember correctly Astleford varielheeled it and Hayes almost did a sick back three. I think the night before we all got thrown out of a strip club for filming the party inside. Good memories.

I guess collaborations aren't so limited anymore in the snowboard world. Only one of these gets my vote for having a purpose, and yes, it's the last one.
The Hundreds x Forum Snowboards,
Mishka x K2 Snowboards,
Claw Money x K2 Snowboards,
LRG x Forum Snowboards,
Ransom x Endeavor Snowboards.
Flip Extremely Sorry Teaser - I actually can't wait for this video, it's been a while since the last one.
How did I miss this Party Snake teaser?
Randomness - Looks like Kanye saw all the money that 50 got with his vitamin water and is trying to do the same thing with this drink.

Our short trip to South Korea seemed like a dream. One moment we stood in the rain at YVR airport, then next we were participating at the Tre-X games, then the next moment we were flying over Seoul, and then taking the subway to skate spots around the giant city. We snapped so many photos, filmed a few tricks and met so many awesome people. We all had a blast to remember. Now we are all back home planning our next city trip.

Montie and Spence enjoy the subway characters
.
Here’s us with some of the Stunt B skate team.
There’s always a party to have in Seoul.
Papa was a hit with the ladies.
Look out for more photos and video clips from our mini trip in South Korea in the “City Of New Lights” video.

If your familiar with the Obama x Obey movement thats been taking place then there’s not much to explain. If not, then click here to read an interview that Sheppard Fairey did with the people over at Creativity on his decision to get involved and actively endorse Barack Obama.

This pic surfaced on the internet a few hours ago. The person in front is Ryan Sheckler, while the person in the rear (pause) is his best friend Tony. Tony's bio can be found on the cast sheet for Ryan's show; "Out of all of Ryan Sheckler's friends, Tony stands out the most. He's outspoken and always wants to be the center of attention. Tony has a flair for the dramatic and he and Ryan are very competitive". I guess you could say they look competitive in this photo, it's a rear arm lock right? If this post dosen't get a shi* load of comments posted below, I officially give up on posting this type of humorous content!

Tofino, BC is an amazing place. In the summer, during Ultimate's staff trip one weekend, we got to check out a big surf contest at Cox Bay, and skate Tofino’s flowy park. I decided to do an “In The Park” story - which has some amazing Trevor Ribeyre sequences in it - for Push.ca/skateboarding about the “Tuff City” skatepark. The column also serves as a mellow visitor’s guide to the Island town as well – definitely a place worth visiting if you ever get the chance. Thanks goes out to Storm in Tofino, who posted a link to the column on their site’s news section.

Quite literally. Surf is up. I'm going on vacation and taking a little break from all this heavy bloggin' I've been doin' all these years. So tired.
So I figured I'd leave you with some media to surf on the web until I can post more crap. I promise this winter I will post a lot more frequently because I will have more interesting shit (I hope) to talk about than going on vacation and what I ate for lunch.
In a shameless self promo plug, there's an interview with me on KingShit.org, a great art/skate/snow/culture site by Ryan Stutt out of Toronto.
I would have interviewed myself for this blog but Ryan beat me to it. Go on the main page and you'll see my fathead, Here
Or follow this link to go straight to it, Here
In other related news. Some of my shots were used in a web video for Maiden Noir, a clothing label out of Seattle. It's a great company that makes amazing clothes and the video is well done, highlighting some behind the scenes stuff, Here
When I get back I'll have a ton of photos to post and hopefully some good war stories to tell from our mission to Nicaragua.
Until then, Arrib-Adairski!
